My Rojo wheelchair cushions are always getting holes punched in them accidentally, so we're looking elsewhere for one. My father has heard of a cushion that happens to be orange, but I've certainly never seen it. Anyone here have an idea of what he's talking about?

not quite orange, but my wife told me about these from her recent visit to vendors at the kansas health care conference. they boast being less expensive than roho's. i haven't priced them.

I still find it amazing how companies can sell so little for so much simply because it is classified as a "medical" product. I still look at my wheelchairs with disgust when I remember the price I paid for them. A high end mountain bike has more to it than a wheelchair yet I can buy a nice, light weight bike for under 2k.

We want one that you don't have to inflate.

Hmmm...that's kinda like asking for a balloon you don't have to fill with air to use is it not?

My friend Lloyd used Vicair cushions and swore they were the best he ever tried. It's basically an air cushion but you don't inflate it. It's full of individual little air cell packets that you add or remove to adjust for the user.

I really like the design of the Vicair.

Got one of these, and so far it is very comfy. Feels much more stable than a ROHO, and is lighter at 1.5lbs. and adjustable. Lots to like, and very little to dislike so far. Will see how my skin likes it over time.

Thanks for the tip, Steve.

I just got a cushion from the comfortcompany.com I really like the cushion I got. Test drove the roho and I hated it! I felt like I was sitting on marbles. I tried a couple of different cushions before I settled on the M2. A comfortable cushion for me, gel and foam.
